Black and White Prints on Inkjets

Anyone ever used Quadtone Inks from Lyson?

Just I've bought some and will be trying them out in the next few weeks.

You can only use them on certain printers. Mainly Epson and Canon.

Will keep you posted. They cost about £8.5o each. I use 6 in my Canon S9000 printer.

They basically replace the colour tones with greyscale ones instead of the Inkjet interpreting what it thinks is greyscale by using CMYK (you usually end up with a reddish or greenish hue to your prints)

I got mine from Lynimage and they came with a plethora (good word that ) of info on how to use them as well as the colour profiles to use.

NB: You'll need a set of Head Cleaning cartridges too to remove all traces of the CMYK inks before you start.

Will keep you posted on the results. I'm pretty busy though so I dont know when I'm going to get around to using them.
