Windows XP remote desktop connection

I connected to my home computer from my workplace and the remote desktop feature worked perfectly fine.

Now when I try to log in to the same computer from home the user name that I connected to using my remote desktop at work is grayed out.

It also shows that someone is still logged into this user name even though I made a point to log off the user name at the remote location.

Has anyone heard of this before?

Nope I use Real VNC as you can even use a browser to access it
