I have been given a Epson Stylus 3200 which has an error message when it starts 'Printer error---- see your documentation and call service if necessary'. Troubleshooting just says see a dealer and it is not worth getting it repaired. Has anyone got any ideas of how to fix it before I throw it out?
As I say I was given it so I don't know any of its history. Thanks Cliff

You might just try this printer utility in an attempt to identify and perhaps rectify the fault.

Thank-you!! My Epson Stylus CX3200 seemed to be dead in the water with a vague error - Printer Error - See your documentation and call service if necessary. Nothing I did would clear the error. But this utility did the trick in minutes! I just reset the protection counter and a soft reset and it all started working great!
